Residents at Avamere at Cascadia Village, an independent and assisted living community in Sandy, Oregon, got a special visit recently … from farm animals! These farm animal visits happen annually. With the help of a local farm in Sandy, Oregon, Avamere at Cascadia Village residents get to visit with baby chicks, goats, bunnies, and miniature horses!
“We feel like with all of this cold weather, we needed a small throwback to some sunny days and furry animals,” noted Isabella Pagano, Community Relations Director for Avamere at Cascadia Village.
Special photos were taken during the visit to feature in a calendar that the community will have produced.
